Induna X Fest 2011, 26 March Active Holidays!

How do YOU choose your holiday or long weekend destination?

Have you ever met a person who has made an art of choosing and planning holidays and long weekends?

They get excited about every bit of the upcoming trip in such a way that it energises them for weeks before and after the trip. Like an artist who combines colour and light they plan a holiday filled with expectation while combining what the area has to offer with their personality, needs, time, money and the weather.

I’d like to think of myself as a holiday artist with adventure activities being a dominant part of my holidays. My biggest work of art being the Snow and Sea holiday of June 2009. I was snowboarding at Tiffendale in thick snow for four days and within 24 hours surfing the crystal clear water of Jeffrey’s Bay for the next week. Already planning the next Snow and Sea holiday I can’t wait to better the previous one with and extra arrow in my quiver , kitesurfing! I can already see it, snowboard, surf and kitesurf all within the same holiday!

If you like to plan your next holiday with lots activities and not only paint with one colour, choose Hazyview for this April Holiday.

In one week you can:
Take part in the Induna X-Fest
Do a Mountain Bike Race
Compete in a Trail Run
Compete in a Duathlon

Zip line: Mild or wild

What does it feels like being strapped into a harness and hooked to a 450 meter long cable, 77 meter high? What does it feel like when gravity is pulling you down a suspended cable up to 100km/h?
Once you stand on the top platform, your brain starts to rationalize... All the empty space beneath your feet is slightly unnerving. Don’t let your mind prevent you from having the time of your life. As soon as you leap over the edge, the tension and fear that have build up is being released and exchanged by fun, exhilaration and adrenalin. The feeling of “Now I can concur the world” and “From now on nothing is impossible” comes to mind.

Zip line is the perfect activity for the whole family, young and old. As long as you safely fit in a harness you are good to go. It does not require any special athletic skills just to try it. All you need is a sense of adventure and the rest will come naturally. IT is available all year around come rain or sunshine. The expert tour guides will give you step by step instructions to make sure that nothing stands in your way to conquer life.
So, is Zip line mild or wild? There’s only one way to find out...
