The Bird watching will be done in the Hazyview surrounding area.
There will be five activities from which you can choose two to participate in. One activity will be for the morning and one for the afternoon. You will be accompanied by bird enthusiast on all trips

Available activities for the bird watching
1. Quad Bike Birding: Quad biking is a fun way to explore areas that cannot be reached by vehicle. The confluence of the three river will provide bird life unimagined. Narina Trogon, Turaco’s, Bee–eaters, Rufous chested Sparrowhawk’s can be seen hear. Guides will lead you to the birding hotspots.
2. River Birding: You will be rafting down the Sabie river with guides that can look after your equipment if necessary.
3. Mountain Birding on a bike: You will cycle along the Mac Mac, Sabaan and Sabie river which will take you through diverse habitats excellent for birding. Eagles, Trogons, Turaco’s, Cuckoo’s, Robin’s are ever present along with the smaller LBJ’s (little brown jobs)
4. Guided Hiking : Hiking on foot, only hearing the sound of your footsteps, water and birdlife. Perfect setup to find Cuckoo’s, Mountain wagtail, Bee eaters, Robin’s and Cameroptera’s to mention a few.

5. Transfer Birding: You will be transferred with a vehicle to the birding hotspots in Hazyview area. Because of the transport you will be able to visit all the different habitats this area has to provide. African pygmy goose, Amethyst Sunbird, Olive woodpecker etc.

All activities start from Induna Adventures and are guided

Group sizes will be no bigger than 10 and all activities are in different areas.

Friday: 16:00 Registration and briefing on birding day starts.
Talk on unique birds of the area, and competition on bird sound recognition will be afterwards for fun and laughter.

Saterday: Arrive between 6:30 and 7:00
Briefing for the activities will start at 7:00 and activities start at 7:30
All activities for the morning will be back by 11:00 latest
Lunch will then be available between 11:00 and 14:00
Afternoon activities start at 14:00 and be finished by 17:30.
Leisure time between 17:30 and 19:00 on Saturday evening
19:00 price giving and dinner starts with birding entertainment
